Integrated Project Team

IPT

Description

Obsolescent. Between 2000 and 2008, an Integrated Project Team (IPT) was the body responsible for managing

a project from Concept to Disposal. Full definitions were published in JSP 553 and the AMS/AOF.

With effect from 2009, IPTs have become 'Teams' and no collective term for Teams is to be mandated.

Furthermore, forthcoming re-organization within the MAE is likely to re-distribute responsibilities.

Until new terms are agreed and defined, and all individual JAP 100A-01 references to IPTs and

other affected organizations are amended appropriately, all references to IPTs are deemed to apply to the

successor organizations that are carrying out functions that were formerly the responsibility of IPTs.
